This past week we spent our spring break in Dallas with a youth group from the Houston area. The group came to serve the local community, share the good news and love of Jesus to the people there. We worked in two different communities during the week. Each morning the team held a Vacation Bible School for the hispanic community. Since the children were on spring break we had a great outcome. We worshipped together, taught a bible story, made arts & crafts, played games outside and ate so many hotdogs.

Spring Break in Pictures
In the afternoons we went to the refugee apartments and gathered the kids for another VBS. Both the refugee children and the youth group felt the tangible love of Jesus through this time together
In the evenings we attended Dallas International Street Church. This is a church in south Dallas for the homeless to come and receive a hot meal, as well as a warm place to come and hear the word of God. The team got to participate in serving the meals, sharing testimonies, and prayer with the church members.
Spring break in Dallas was a great week of growth in new experiences. There was so much love both given and received. The team went home with full hearts ready to show their home of Houston the same love and outreach.
