I was Homeless but then He found me.

We just sent the team off this morning back to their homes in Nebraska and Oklahoma, we had such a blessed week it was hard to say goodbye. This week we had two groups making up 50 people to serve in Dallas this week, most of this group was 6th,7th, and 8th graders. What and amazing eye opening adventure. We had the opportunity to partner with a few ministries this week, most of these we worked with the homeless and refugee community. I loved getting to hear stories from the group about how homeless are not as scary as they thought or how the homeless are people to. I know that this was a very eye opening and humbling experience. One of my favorite experiences was at the international street church, while being in the community handing out free clothes, hygiene packets, bibles, and prayer I saw a few of the girls from the team praying with a woman. It was so beautiful to see the boldness of these kids in praying with those around them. I also loved watching the other kids help people look for the right sizes in clothes and talk with the people that came up. This was such a beautiful thing watching so young kids go out with boldness into the Dallas community sharing the love of Jesus.

God is so good! Can I get an Amen on that?

I hope that you are blessed by the stories on this blog. I know that many people were blessed this week and I hope that blessing continues to spread!
