We were standing there resting on the side of the street as we were on our way back to the center from our evening ministry of living water. The whole time I had felt like I had missed so many oppurtunities to talk to people as we were handing out water. So we were standing there and we see a man walking and he has a guitar on his back. Everyone in the group said we should ask him if he would play for us. Well we asked if he wants some water and he does so he runs over to where we are. As we hand him the water I just felt that I should try and talk to him, so I started asking about his guitar. His hame was artist. From their our conversation shifted to the building he had just left. The building was called the Hughes building. Artist told us about how he was trying to start some ministries out of the building. Like housing, music, and some individualized self improvment systems for the homeless in the community. He was telling me about how he was in a ministry like that years back and then had some hard times. He said if it was not for God and His love he would be a lot worse off than he is now. After talking for awhile we had to head back so I prayed for him and his ministry. I prayed that the ministry got the support and aid it needed.
